In a related and shocking development for the Clinton camp, in the past few days Donald Trump has narrowed the polling gap and is now tied with Hillary nationwide in the closely-watched head-to-head Reuters Daily Tracking Poll. Three weeks ago, Trump trailed Hillary by 12 points in the same poll. Something is happening out there. The Trump momentum is growing as voters are finally comparing their final two options for November without Cruz and Sanders to muddy the waters.
