In case you're counting this is vacation #6 for the Deficit President and family, just since January. And that's not counting Michelle's recent luxury trip with friends to Spain, that you paid for not incidentally. Maybe the Obankster missed this morning's economic data, because he certainly wouldn't be callous enough to head to Martha's Vineyard for 11 days of lobster and love if he were aware that 22% of the U.S. population is still out of work. Yes, 22%. Did he see that weekly first-time claims for unemployment rose to over 500,000 as released this morning? Did he notice that the Philly Fed index went negative as well? What about the CBO's newest report on the deficit? And does he even know about the sweetheart deal that his SEC chief Mary Schapiro offered Citigroup?
Heck no he didn't. He was putting his new golf bag together, this one with room for 3 dozen Pro V1s, since his shankapotomos swing can't hit anything straight, and frankly is a national embarrassment.
He also is likely unaware that in the bustling shops that await him and family in Martha's Vineyard, the 'Miss Me Yet' George Bush t-shirts have been outselling the 'I vacationed with Obama' t-shirts for days prior to his visit. Sounds like some people plan to deliver a sartorial message to the first family. And for the record, though I detest the Deficit President, I indeed do not miss anything about George W. Bush.
