Senate Banking Committee Chairman Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) said he's "very optimistic" he'll be able to craft a bipartisan financial reform bill.Dodd, who several weeks ago expressed pessimism about the prospects of passing a bipartisan reform bill, said that his negotiations with Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) on a bill had turned efforts around."I'm very optimistic we can get a bill," Dodd told reporters following a vote on the Senate's $15 billion jobs bill."If we come out of committee with a bipartisan bill, I think its chances of passing on the floor increase dramatically," he added.
