I'm not taking sides in this. Glenn Beck has done some good things -- debt and deficit focus mostly -- but his persona can be over the top. I think even he would admit that, so I'm not taking shots. He has promoted 2 of our stories in the past 6 months, which brought tens of thousands of visitors each time, so I appreciated that help in building awareness, certainly.
And he supported TARP, which isn't good to have on your resume.

This is a re-imagined Donald Duck cartoon remix constructed using 50 classic Walt Disney cartoons from the 1930s to 1960s. Donald's life is turned upside-down by the current economic crisis and he finds himself unemployed and falling behind on his house payments. As his frustration turns into despair Donald discovers a seemingly sympathetic voice coming from his radio named Glenn Beck.
Will Donald's feelings of disenfranchisement lead him to be persuaded by his radio's increasingly paranoid and divisive rhetoric? Or will our favorite Disney duck decide that this voice is not actually on his side after all? Watch and find out!

And for new readers of The Bail, in case there was any doubt, BOTH Bush and Obama pushed for the bailouts. They are equally to blame for siding with Wall St. over Main St.

That will certainly offend the christian element of the Republican party, but it will probably improve his standing with the Log Cabin crowd, and the pro choice, and gun banner, and liberal sects of the Republican party.
