Demand....
No .... create .... a new party: the US citizen party...
Take over congress and the executive office....Get Krugman as the Secretary of the Treasury ....
then
Legislate your own new rules.
including catch up taxes for the bastard greedy rich and unAmerican corporations sending jobs overseas - retroactive during the Bush years (that will make the corporations holding trillions of dollars in reserve .... their pants)
The rich use the two party system to maintain the corrupt system, stifle any possible redress of financial industry corruption and fraud; anything resembling fairness....
Demands to the democrats and republicans who are owned by the rich lobbyist will never be addressed..

Can't people see what is happening? Systems are only as good as the parts who/that run them or make them. If they break, so does the system. Nothing is immune. We all operate on trust, on faith. Markets call it confidence. Faith in ourselves, faith in others. Some take advantage of this. It's easy to do. Madoff, anyone?
DR is emotional, but right. His guests know it. You can "see" them listening. You can see them wishing they could be so honest. They want to open up. They want to share. What holds them back? Fear of losing their respectability? Fear of losing their status? Fear of losing a cushly life? Truth sets us free. DR spoke it, where doing that puts his job, status and money in jeopardy. I imagine he never felt more free, or proud.
It's the small moments that sometimes move us to change our lives, change directions. Small moments can be powerful. We are all at a moment that may change our country forever. I hope so, for my twin girls.
Teddy Roosevelt, where are you?
Of course, I've been drinking tonight...
