Glenn Beck Endorses Ron Paul For President

This should come as no surprise to anyone who looks past the hyperbole as Beck is an avowed Constitutional Libertarian who has repeatedly attacked both Republicans and Democrats as part of his belief in the destructively false Left-Right paradigm which grips party tribalists from both sides.

Still have doubts about Beck's independent credentials?  Read these stories:

One of the nation's biggest owners of home mortgages has made a move that could add to an already overburdened Hawaii court system's caseload.

Fannie Mae, a publicly owned company created and overseen by the federal government, recently instructed companies that handle foreclosures for its loans to file all new Hawaii foreclosures in court.

Fannie Mae also told the firms known as loan servicers to cancel any pending nonjudicial Hawaii foreclosures and restart them in court.

Fannie Mae took the steps in response to Hawaii's new foreclosure law enacted last month. Critics are concerned Fannie Mae might be attempting to sidestep the main intent of the law, which was to engage mediators to help homeowners avoid foreclosure.

This is not good for Ron Paul. Many see Beck as a fringe element, including me. It's almost like Paul is being set up.

As much as I laud Ron Paul's adherence to the Constitution, Glen Beck's recommendation does indeed detract from the degree of validity Dr. Paul should be seeking. Glen Beck seems to have burned holes in his brain during his wild days of posturing himself as a "Shock Jock" in the Howard Stern mold. The thing is, Howard Stern was never a crackhead while Glen Beck has pretty much admitted that he was. I think organic brain damage would be consistent with the aberrational behavior Beck has displayed repeatedly both on television and in the public eye. Ron Paul would do well to steer well clear of this adult baby.

I have the same fears that you both express...however, you are forgetting the HUGE audience that beck commands...we are talking about close to 30 million people who more or less worship the guy...it's a big plus for his candidacy, not the negative you both imagine...political success means strange bedfellows...look at mitt romney getting the endorsement of Al Gore for example...as much as we dislike al gore, there are tens of millions who worship him...that endorsement won't hurt romney and beck's endorsement won't hurt ron paul...

Politics aren't pretty or neat or simple...

Ron Paul was set up by the Republicans and he knows it. They are underestimating him in a big way but the biggest betrayal is going to come from Ron's own family...wait for it...

glen beck is an idiot and so is anyone who thinks he is not a republicON shill or who takes him seriously. About as big a lowlife as the fat slob limpblob or georgie bushjunior let alone the phony cowboy actor reagan. Typical republiCONS playiing cowboy all the time when they are really what comes out of the back end of the horse.

harry...democrats are just as bad as republicans...don't forget it...if you think one side is better than the other than YOU are part of the problem...

While it is true that "most" Democrats and Republicans are of the same mold;
warmongering profiteering at the people's expense slime balls. But not all of
them, Ron Paul is one exception to the rule, and there are a few more on both
sides of the aisle. However I do take exception to the "Strange Bedfellows"
argument, It's like saying that if a politician accepts Campaign contributions
from Gold-in-my-Sacks or AIPAC that it's okay as long as it helps them get
elected. Then comes the inevitable "I scratch your back now you scratch mine"
mentality so prevalent in Politics today. In Glenn Becks announcement I smell a
Rat with a Monkey wrench, GB has never before endorsed Mr. Paul, quite the
opposite, why should he change now?

It's not the opposite, you are wrong...Beck has always supported ron paul and his ideas...he simply didn't endorse him in 2008...and don't forget, glenn beck wasn't even known in 2008...so no one cared who he endorsed...

@DailyBail, you are right, I stand corrected. After searching some I found that to be true;

I must have been thinking of someone else associated with FOX news,
I seem to remember some months back how FOX had lied about, what was it?
The CPAC convention? and the audience reaction, was that Shepard smith?
yes that's the one. Anyways, my bad with the comment about GB.
Perhaps I need to study GB some more, though I am still circumspect in regards to him.

Yes...and remember that beck isn't even on fox news anymore...no worries on the mistake...

I believe that for sometime Beck liked Ron Paul once he was on beck's TV show. From that point on Beck started to see the light and investigate the federal reserve. Its was at this time he spoke at the CPAC also bringing up most of ron paul's ideas. It was that which got him kicked off or whatever story they are using to remove BECK from Fox News. Beck was getting to close to the truth and fox news didnt want him having a large listening base before the 2012 election. Supporting RON PAUL on fox news is not something the neocons can stand for.

Marc...the video is there for you to see...

This is hardly an endorsement. The critical viewer knows that the graphics in the video are not Glenn Beck's but rather they are the content of the poster.

I know a number of people who agree with Ron Paul on constitutional issues - but would still never vote for the man for dogcatcher.

Don't expect Glenn to actually issue an endorsement until we are nearly at the start of Primary season - if he doesn't end up running himself.

I am the person who posted this story...i have no idea who uploaded it to youtube...but if you do some checking you will see beck is endorsing paul for 2012...
Jul 1, 2011 at 12:15 AM | Registered CommenterDailyBail
That wasn't specifically an endorsement... and yes, I do still have doubts about Beck. I don't know that I can trust the guy after he tanked Debra Medina's campaign in 2010 and threw the race to the globalist Rick Perry.

Question With Boldness! Unless it's 9/11, then STFU...

How is the Daily Bail so gullible? Glen Beck is a Trojan horse. He is nothing more than a scum sucking toad.

Actually, Glenn Beck has officially endorsed Santorum. Where in this video did you hear Beck endorse Ron Paul for president? Great way to establish credibility Paulbots...distort the truth. What a good little sheep says your dear leader (the beast), Alex Jones.
