Glenn Beck's "Unholy Alliance" With Goldline (Comedy)

Video:  Glenn Beck Ad for Goldline

"Call Goldline. Study it outPray on it....Trust the people at Goldline."

By Dr. Pitchfork

This might be the weirdest gold story since tungsten-filled good delivery bars.  Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) goes after Glenn Beck and what he calls the "unholy alliance" between conservative talk show hosts and gold coin dealer Goldline.  Weiner claims that Goldline rips off their "customers" by over-charging for coins and pressuring them to buy "numismatic" coins instead of bullion.  Beck says Weiner is the reincarnation of Joe McCarthy.

Here's the deal:

  • No need to take sides here.  Just enjoy the show.

As usual, Dylan Ratigan gets this one exactly right.

Some Democrats on the campaign trail have hit upon a winning campaign tactic: Run against President Obama and his agenda -- especially the health care overhaul.

Democrat Mark Critz railed against the Obama administration's health care reforms while campaigning in his western Pennsylvania district -- and was easily elected to the House.

A JetBlue pilot was pulled from a flight at Logan Airport Thursday just an hour before takeoff after he allegedly threatened to kill himself "in spectacular fashion," authorities said Friday.

But Logan Airport's Federal Security Director George Naccara said a report that the unidentified pilot threatened to crash the plane is "misleading."

A source told WBZ Radio the pilot was taken into custody for allegedly sending an email to his girlfriend in which he said if they did not reconcile their relationship, he was going to crash the plane.

17 more states planning Ariz. 'illegal' crackdown

But ICE chief says feds might not 'process' illegals arrested by state

By Bob Unruh

In what is developing into a standoff between states and the federal government that could be bigger than gun control or even health care, 17 states have launched versions of Arizona's immigration law, even as federal officials say they may not bother to process illegal aliens caught by the states.

Where I live, The sheriff has been trying to do this for many years... They arrest them, the FED's will not get them, and they have to release them.

Then they return to work for their employers who donate many dinero to the political process...

Good stuff James.

A couple things:

1) The GLD ETF Dylan mentions has concerns, complexities and problems Dylan doesn't discuss, but if you want to trade "paper gold" based on the prices set in never-neverland (aka the Comex) go ahead, but remember, history has been cruel to those who accepted paper promises in lieu of physical gold.

2) Nobody on the planet can buy physical gold (or silver) at advertised "melt value." You're always going to pay anwhere from 2 to 7 percent above spot on one ounce, and much more on smaller quantities. For example, Kitco sells 1/10 oz. gold eagles for $159 (more than 30% above spot), that's what you can expect for small quantities. If Goldline is selling 90% above spot, that's price gouging.

3)If Wiener really want to be a hero, he could point out that the government is required by law to produce gold and silver coins "in quantities sufficient to meet public demand" and they are sell them "to the public at a price equal to the market value of the bullion at the time of sale, plus the cost of minting, marketing,"

http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/html/uscode31/usc_sec_31_00005112----000-.html

Notice there's nothing in there about selling the coins to a select number of middlemen. So Goldline exists because the government won't do it's job as described in the law. So far, no one's been able to explain to me why the treasury can't put gold and silver coins on the same trucks that bring nickels, dimes and quarters to my local bank or why I can't order one up when the price suits me.

Wiener should definitely shut the fuck up on this one.

Yes, trading vehicle only. Well said.

And yes, Weiner's staff have obviously never bought gold before. Part of those "mark-ups" are due to the fact that they were using prices on fractional ounce coins for their analysis.

OBAMA...USING OFFICE TO FIX ELECTION....

Robert Gibbs, the White House spokesman, appearing on CBS’ “Face the Nation,” said Sunday that “nothing inappropriate happened.”

Bob Schieffer, the host, pressed Mr. Gibbs about whether the White House had actually offered Mr. Sestak a job to clear the field for Mr. Specter.

“I’m not going to get into it,” Mr. Gibbs said, “but people who have looked into it assure me the conversations were not inappropriate in any way.”

IMPEACH OBAMA...

Article 2, Section 4 of the Constitution reads; "The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors."

Congressman Darrell Issa has already asked Attorney General Eric Holder to appoint a Special Prosecutor to investigate this matter, but the Justice Department is stonewalling this request. Your duty is clear. This matter cannot be swept under the rug. This possible impeachable offense must be investigated. The American people deserve to know the circumstances surrounding the Sestak offer and what role, if any, Barack Obama played in this unfolding drama.

And yes... if Barack Obama had knowledge of this offer, then Articles of Impeachment must be drawn up immediately!

"Bribe...2 : something that serves to induce or influence "

That also means things like, CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS!!!, keep in mind that Clinton had a Republican majority in Congress, and could not get impeached.

The law defends the plunderer, but the voters give them the right to plunder... Every election. They just caste their votes, and go right back to dancing with the stars, and other preoccupations.
