WHILE all the country gaped last week at the acrimony ensnarling the Federal government, Arizonans were treated to an additional, equally bizarre spectacle. You’ll be shocked to hear that a firearm was involved.

President Barack Obama has chosen a candidate other than Elizabeth Warren as director of the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, according to a person briefed on the matter.

"Confirmed: Federal Reserve Policy is Killing Lending, Employment and the Economy"

Obviously none of this is intentional, since it is all just a calamity of errors...

"President Barack Obama has chosen a candidate other than Elizabeth Warren as director of the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, according to a person briefed on the matter."

Cordray tirelessly fought the foreclosure fraud while AG in Ohio till he was replaced by the American Banker ASSotiation hand picked RINO Mike Dewine and Ohio fell in love with bankers once again. Cordray has sued global financial houses, bond-rating agencies, foreclosure scammers and subprime lenders, bagging a series of legal settlements that have easily topped $1 billion.

Oh well, at least Mike got RINO of the year...

"Need a job? Move overseas. "

What an excellent topic for this week. In Southeast Asia there is a demand for native English speakers, in other words, Americans. Even though American expats face paying taxes to the satanic federal government when working abroad, we are exempt up to at the very least $70,000.00. Now I don't know about you, but I don't anywhere near that so I pay no taxes. Period. Add to that the fact that my wife and I are free people once more and face zero harassment from any government, and the incredibly reduced cost of living here in paradise (around $U.S. 30.00 - thirty dollars - for a day's stay in a nice hospital). Pharmaceutical drugs can be had without a prescription at dirt-cheap prices. For example, I can buy 20 doses of 500mg. Ciprofloxacin for about U.S. $3.00 - three dollars. We have never looked back. It cost us about $20,000.00 - that's right, about twenty thousand dollars to make the jump. In our case, we left everything behind except our cameras and computer hard drives. Life here isn't all roses, but we are free again and we are ALIVE again after being just a zombie number in a system, mice going around and around on a treadmill until Obama says STOP!

There is no insurance, no lawsuits, no nanny state. You are responsible for yourself here and if you should screw up - well, that's on you pal. It is an incredible place, a story or image on every street corner and out in the rural islands (all 17,000 of them). Food and clothing are so cheap they don't even factor in a budget. A tailored suit here goes for around U.S. $100.00. Full service.

Think about it. A whole new start life all over again, including a learning curve that goes straight up. Learn a foreign language. The possibilities are endless.

I am willing to advise (pro bono) anyone in the U.S. on how to make the jump. You CAN do it, just grab your balls and passport and get on the plane... and say goodbye to the TSA criminal pedophiles for the last time. Don't let anyone tell you that you cannot do it!

I just got a squint at this:

http://politics.nytimes.com/congress/bills/112/hr2560

Anyone care to parse it for Social Security, Medicare and VA benefits? The way I read it, they will be exempt from any change, but sadly I am just a dumb Marine and really can't be sure. Thanks.

Daily Bail - it won't last forever. They have already cut tourist visa on arrival from 60 to 30 days. It's a tough move to Indonesia, but worth it. Took us 10 years to get my visa requirements under control, and I am married to a National. My wife and I are contemplating starting a consulting firm here to assist expats with visa/job/long stay/cultural and marriage issues. This is also a non-English speaking country, putting native English speakers in demand but making it hard if you don't learn the language fast. Unfortunately I am language stupid and it has been a severe handicap. I just barely get by even now.
