Iceland FM: 'We Don't Force Our People To Bailout Banks'

I find it interesting that the FM thinks Greece is going to stay in the EU and that Iceland will try to pull closer to the EU in the future. It is hard for me to imagine the Greeks, Irish and other countries that are being bent over are going to continue themselvse allowed to be abused like this.

I just don't know why Iceland would want to join EU. That would be a guarantee of poverty.
And if Iceland is so prosperous why can't the FM afford to shave?
