Actually, as "muslims hate US for the movie" these people "try to save Stevens".

Stevens death was same as M.Gaddafis'. Stevens was raped, then a knife was stubbed in his "arschloch". He died a disgraceful death, for this was a vengeance from M.Gaddafis' tribe.

Before, the main m.o. was that Stevens was in a car that was bombed/RPG hit, now they say libyans actually were trying to save him. And if they were trying to save him, why in the hell they attacked the US consulate and what about the KIA marines?!

And as "muslims hate US for the movie" and not for destroying their countries and infrastructures and their people, these people "try to save Stevens".

Your comment is not very clear. I have no idea what happened to Stevens when he died, and neither do you. I believe it was a pre-planned attack and had little to do with the film. Now there may have been protesters there who were upset about the film, but that is not why the Embassy was attacked. I think we can agree on that point.

To those who question the above comment: ask why the "Abu Slim brigade" in Derna, Libya, was dissolved as soon as the news from Benghazi, Libya appeared?! The "real" dominant powers in Benghazi, Libya, started to show off. And all over the Libya "anarchist"-slafi (wahabi) groups now are moving away, forced away by local powers. Salafists have done their job, "mission accomplished" (c) and now they are forced out.

Stevens has gained what he deserved!

Especially, what makes me laugh is the Yemeni "Al-Caeda", where the ruling class is sunni and the opposition marked as "Al-Caeda" is shii. "Al-Caeda" was always announced as sunni, and now the sunni ruling class is labeling the opposing repressed shiis as "Al-Caeda"... ROFL

Uh, how many people are there in Libya?

How many were fans of Qaddafi? (Well, 33% "Good 'Mericans" still liked Bush until the end - even after he helped bankrupt them.)

This murder was payback and it looks like they killed him the same way we killed Qaddafi. With maximum dishonor. Is there anyone so idiotic as to think that this was about a movie?

What on earth do people expect's going to happen when you destroy someone's country? That the people there are going to throw roses at the CIA station chief...I mean consulate chief? Let's get our heads out of our asses.

And who's to say who's behind these people?

Ever been to a US Consulate or Embassy overseas?

In FRIENDLY countries they're built like fortresses. But in Libya, after we disenfrachised millions of people and had the president butchered in broad daylight apparently we ran a Tea House.

Because...we don't know how to secure a place? Give me a break.

As Fletcher Prouty - former Chief of Special Operations for the Joint Chiefs of Staff - used to say, if you want to eliminate someone or create "an incident", all you have to do is withdraw security as was done when Kennedy was murdered. The nut jobs will do the rest.

Someone unlocked the door and let these guys in.

Don't we spend bazillions paying Blackwater (or whatever it's called now) to protect State Department people? Who had the contract on this job? Where were all the tough guys we're bankrupting the nation to keep fat and happy overseas?

How about some reporting? What a joke.

I've seen US and Israel consulates and embassies in ME and other places. The most secured ones, as it's seems to me, are US embassies and consulates, then Israelis are.
When US tries to place their installations in remote or isolated places with all the checkpoints and concrete blocks on the road, Israel creates a checkpoint - even in the populated areas, forcing local drivers to pass through this checkpoint. LOL.
This is unbelivable - but in case you are in Ankara, Turkey, visit the Israel embassy and see for yourself! This checkpoint in front of Israeli embassy operates at night. On this street there are numeruous embassies and consulates are located - Amman, Belgium, etc. but only Israelis have the checkpoint installed!
