Mortgage Company Completely Trashes Man's Home, Steals All His Belongings - Cops Decline To Investigate

The victim had fallen behind on his house payments but was NOT in foreclosure.  His mortgage company, thinking Florida was a so-called self-help state (it is not), hired paid thugs to destroy his home and steal his belongings.  The local sheriff called it a civil case and has declined to investigate.

Quotes from the mortgage company and sheriff inside.

Brooksville, Florida -- Imagine coming back to your home after being away a few weeks and finding the locks changed and the home trashed.  That's what happened to Chris Boudreau of Brooksville.  Boudreau showed us the home, which was stripped bare.

Walking through the living room, he tells us "I used to have a couch, a sofa, a couple of end tables, a TV, DVD  player, tapes and cabinet... but  they are now gone."

According to Altman, the woman from the mortgage company told him Florida is a “self help state,” and that’s why they are allowed to do this.

However, Altman explained he was holding the mortgage and Florida is not a self help state. He says he told the woman Florida has strict mortgage foreclosure laws and they were being violated by the company.

But the Hernando Sheriff’s Office apparently has no interest in enforcing those laws… or burglary, breaking and entering and trespassing, either. They say it is a civil matter, even though everything from the house was taken or thrown in the dumpster. The wedding dress belonging to Boudreau’s wife was even cut to shreds.

The law defends the plunderer... Obviously no conspiracy or collusion here.

The Sheriff is probably due a few cruisers from the bank for his participation.

He should get another lawyer. He has homeowners insurance and what happened is clearly covered. He should file a claim with his homeowners and let the insurance company sue the mortgage company. What is the good thing about this is he gets replacement value and if he sued he would only get actual lose value. The homeowners method is far superior method. If he had a mortgage he was required to have homeowners insurance so the mortgage company was required to provide a police if he did not.

So, the Sheriff covered up this crime by pretending that it is not a crime. Isn't that a crime? Yes, it is, but when law enforcers commit crimes who is going to enforce the law?

It’s too bad that those Framers were so clueless that they didn’t think of any way for citizens to hold criminals, including ones in government, accountable for their crimes. I know that might be hard for some to believe especially since injustice is the reason cited most often for declaring independence and establishing justice is the first goal cited in the Constitution.

Unfortunately, instead of teaching how the Framers intended for us to secure liberty and justice, every school day, the children say a prayer to GOTUS, the giver of liberty and justice, and then, they see a multitude of TV shows where heroic government crime fighters always pursue justice. As a result, most people believe that justice is magically secured if we just beg and plead hard enough, much like the feudal reign which the Framers sought to eliminate.

If you want to know how we were supposed to be able to control the government and secure liberty and justice, see Why Does the Government Ignore Our Wishes? at http://ning.it/arAjdo and don’t miss my short speech at http://markadams.blip.tv/file/2636803/

If you take a look, you’ll learn why those in government and those who can illegally influence them get away with violating our rights, abusing their power, and committing horrible crimes. My article on torture includes a link to the U.S. Supreme Court case which explains how one of our stolen rights makes the difference between justice and injustice, between freedom and slavery.

By the way, there are still a couple of ways to initiate criminal proceedings, but they don’t teach that in “law” school either. After all, they want to keep us in the dark so that we think that we have to beg and plead for justice and accept it when it is denied by one of their partners in crime.

If anyone wants to know how to initiate criminal proceedings in Federal or Florida courts, let me know at http://www.markadamsjdmba.com/contact-mark-adams/

Also as Tom pointed out, Boudreau should make a claim with his home insurance carrier.

That situation is common in Florida. 90% of all Sheriffs departments are corrupt in Florida. I know, I live here. It's the stuff you don't hear about is what's scary.

This is insanely criminal. What makes cases even scarier is that they SEEM to be on the rise, though obviously there's no data on it.

At the opposite end of the spectrum are sheriffs like Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart, who actually put a moratorium on certain types of evictions in Chicago. I'm interviewing him Tuesday.

He genuinely tries to do what's moral and just in extremely trying times.

Im guessing Tom Dart is one of the young, new, guys. It seems when they get 10 years under their belt they go Bad..... Guess its time to "Cull the Herd".......!

You bet it can, Tex. A lot worse for these criminals in police uniform. I do believe that under Florida law there is a loophole for boobytraps in the residence. Exploit them. A couple of claymores should do the trick nicely.
