Wow for a person who served a time in the Federal Reserve,.... he is one of two things,..... either he is woefully naive or intensely deceptive,.... I will go with the latter,...... just another schill for the powers that be........ worthless piece of political garbage.

The only reason this idiot got elected is because he ran against a white candidate in a gerrymandered black district. This guy couldn't get elected dog catcher just on his own merit. Just listening to him talk exposes what an uneducated moron the man is. I'm sure he prays to the AA gods everyday for his free diploma.

INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels thinks he could beat President Barack Obama in 2012. He just hasn't decided whether he'll try.

I can not understand how anyone would make a case that something should be done in secret. In the last couple years trillions have be expended by the Federal reserve. The Federal Reserve is not an elected position and we should have a right to have the information on who got so much money. I have read many stories about money the federal reserve has "invested'. I for one wished they never created the federal reserve but i am open to read information to show that the trillions saved the nations as they like to claim. Please feed me the details on what they used my money for.

He's right. Let's skip the audit and just get rid of them.

This guy was on The Fed Board? Idiots like this at The Fed is EXACTLY why we need to audit the Fed! Do you trust this guy (or anyone really) at the Fed?

And I am reminded of The Bernank on 60 minutes--the lip-quivering liar telling the sheeple that helping Wall St. is helping Main St...not a very good poker face there, Ben...

"...he is one of two things"; "...worthless piece of political garbage." - Leonne

"He's right. Let's skip the audit and just get rid of them." - G Street
"Hyperinflation on the horizon." - Hyperinflation on the Horizon

You are correct, Leonne! He is many things...but naive or deceptive are not two of them! Obviously you don't know much about the man. And, the last sentence of your comment leads me to wonder if you spend a lot of time at MSNBC's Newsvine?

And Roxanne...I see you are another who opens mouth before engaging brain. Cain has never been elected to public office. He ran for the senate in Georgia in 2004 but lost. You should invest a little time in doing your homework before you spout off on the net.

And, Daily Bail...you should do some homework also before letting comments like Roxanne's go uncorrected! And you are accusing Cain of being unintelligent? I don't believe you are unintelligent...but you certainly are sloppy and careless about the veracity of what gets posted here. And, posting video of Alan Grayson? Are you a big fan of Ed Schultz, also?

tom dee, G Street, and Hyperinflation are the only three here who have posted rational, intelligent observations with respect to Mr. Cain.

First, Cain is an extremely successful businessman. To achieve what he has achieved in white corporate America makes him the kind of role model all Americans should be proud of, especially black Americans. Certainly more so than the community organizer currently occupying the White House!

And, what will be accomplished if the Fed is audited? Headlines and calls made from Congress for heads to roll...only to be replaced by more of the same from the Fed as soon as the turmoil subsides?

I suspect both Ron Paul and Herman Cain would prefer the Federal Reserve System be abolished and the United States go back on the gold standard. I certainly would! After all, we managed quite nicely without a central bank from 1835 until 1913! (In the meantime I recommend transfering as much of your wealth into inflation hedges as possible!)

There is only one way to remove political malfeasance, rent seeking, and corruption from government: that is to make government so small and so limited that it is no longer worth the effort for people to seek favors, corruption becomes more transparent and easily exposed, and the incompetence of bureaucrats does a minimum of damage.

Kinda what the Founders had in mind, I believe!

Herman,

Why are you working so hard to stop us from looking into the federal reserve? That suggests you are hiding something.
May 19, 2011 at 1:09 AM | Unregistered CommenterGeorge Gingo
audit the fed lol

that would be like a morbidly obese person contemplating weighing themselves ! for no reason.

the fed weighs in at over 200 tons

everyone can see the reserve is fat, why should they have to weigh themselves to know exactly how much!

thats the reserve.

"audit, we audit, we audit all the time, just ask me how fat i am?"

how fat are you?

we'll just look at me , can't you tell....

Uhm, how would you know what Cain or Paul wants-you suspect it so that makes it true? And Ron Paul is a Kook-wants to legalize heroin. Yes, Cain was a successful businessman whose experience consists of fattening the bottom line of a corporation. That is not servant leadership of the people which is what we need. You don't have very high expectations for a leader.
May 19, 2011 at 1:44 AM | Unregistered Commenterwodiej
wodiej,
you enjoy slavery? economic or otherwise? Ron Paul is for freedom . if your freedom is important, don't call the statesman for freedom a kook. a small few may chose the freedom to use or abuse themselves. so be it .it is not sane to imprison people for medical conditions.
May 19, 2011 at 2:10 AM | Unregistered Commenterdd
Ron Paul is no Kook and suggestion he is trying to legalize heroin makes you look like a real fool.

That sound bite is a joke and your a joke for mentioning it,

Ron Paul would make a great President.

Guess what guys we can never return to the Gold standard because there is not enough of it to base our
global economy on it.

There will be a future where these is one world currency, one world army, one world police, one world governess.

It's coming. The consolidation started. The European union, Nafta, Asian alliance and so on.

Lets just get rid of the Federal Reserve. Confiscate all the interest they have been collecting from us tax payers since its creation and lets print our own money without having to pay these flunkies to print our money and charge us interest. We don't need others to print our money and charge us interest when they don't even have a gram of gold to back their printed paper that they call money. They interest they have charged us all of these years would pay off our national debt many times over.
May 20, 2011 at 8:53 AM | Unregistered CommenterEarl
Has anyone ever ask themselves "where is the interest that the Federal Reserve has been charging us?" Where do they stash the cash? What do they do with the interest they receive from our taxes? Certainly without the Fed, our taxes should go down at least the amount that they charge us in interest for printing fiat money.

Earl, you got it. the Fed is only part of the problem, the second part concerns fractional reserve banking. Instead of the treasury department printing dollars (federal reserve notes) and bonds, just print debt free dollars........... That's it.... Sound simple?

Debt Free Dollars. What would it take? an act of congress? that's what started this mess!

We can get our country totally out of debit in 1-2 years by simply paying off these U.S. bonds with debt free U.S. notes . . . just like president Lincoln issued . . . of course that by itself would create tremendous inflation since our currency is presently multiplied by the fractional reserve banking system . . . but here is the ingenious solution advanced in part by Milton Friedman to keep the money supply stable and avoid inflation and deflation while the debt is retired.

As the treasury buys up its bonds on the open market with U.S. notes, the reserve requirements of your hometown local bank will be proportionally raised . . . so that the amount of money in circulation remains constant . . . as those holding bonds are paid off in U.S. notes, they will deposit this money, thus making available the currency then needed by the banks to increase their reserves. Once all the U.S. bonds are replaced with U.S. notes . . . banks will be at 100% reserve banking instead of the fractional reserve system currently in use.

From this point on the former Fed buildings will only be needed as a central clearing house for checks, and as vaults for U.S. notes . . . The Federal Reserve Act will no longer be necessary and could be repealed . . . monetary power could be transferred back to the treasury dept . . . there would be no further creation or contraction of money by banks. Congress would be another story because they have the power of taxation which is the way they contract the money supply. Although any congress worthy of repealing the Federal Reserve Act could possibly see to it the 16th amendment was repealed and get rid of the IRS and replace the progressive income tax with a more equitable form of taxation. I won't say FairTax... oops.

Look at it this way. By the time you get it all figured out, and expect some politician to help you, and you get enough gumption to demand answers in a civil disobedient manner....you'll have a new ball and chain on the other foot.

Forget it already. Nobody wants to sacrifice the luxury and comforts of their lives now. We are perfectly content to address this sitting down at our computers. Right?

Listen, the banks are on their way to being recapitalized. The treasury/fed is throwing so much cheap money their way, they'll be solvent soon. So just forget about it. Don't even contemplate doing something...because you won't.

Inaction kills all hope. So "hope" all ya want, but it'll never get you to where you want to be.

Honestly, with the kind of press Herman Cain gets, you would never know he was chairman of the Kansas City Fed. Saying that this guy was a "Pizza man" is like saying Geo. Bush jr. was a "successful baseball team owner."

"No hidden secrets in the Federal Reserve" relates why the Fed and Fort Knox have been audited. If there really is nothing to hide, why no audit? Seems like Mr. Cain is either a useful idiot or an idiot. And/or another uncle tom black who is ignorant of his past and still has the nigger slave mentality. Or he is just like Don King and would sell out his race for another invite to the social ball and the black tie dinners with the important white folk.

Gary Allen made a remarkable point in None Dare Call It Conspiracy: most people have no morals when it comes to social standing. I'll go one further: most people affiliated with politics make two dollar crack addicted whores seem like virgins.

Google search of "Hermann Cain, zionist" results in 358,000 hits. Wow. That was really surprising (sic).

Herman Cain to Iran: ‘If you mess with Israel you’re messing with the USA’
http://togetherwithisrael.wordpress.com/2011/07/19/herman-cain-to-iran-if-you-mess-with-israel-youre-messing-with-the-usa/

This seems to raise the question of Mr. Cain's loyalties (et al with all the Zionist/Israeli firsters). As the Bible dictates, by their words and deeds, you shall know them. Of course, any and all who do the bidding of the Zionist bankers are Zionist whores and traitors to America.

Herman Cain and Don King : One admits he is a crook the other doesn't. But they both have the same ability to bullshit America.

As Don King would say "Only in Merrica" hahahahaha
