Ratigan On Fire: 'Printing Presses, Accounting Fraud & Wheelbarrows Of Taxpayer Cash' (Must See Clip)

Share

Video:  Dylan Ratigan with Sen. Jeff Merkley -- April 28, 2010

The Goldman Sachs Wheelbarrow Of Taxpayer Cash...

---

One of the best clips from the angry Irishman in awhile.  Ratigan's back with cash, wheelbarrows and venom.  He does not let off the accelerator for the first 7 minutes.  Thought his head was going to explode.

  • "It does not matter which party's bill you look at, neither the Democrats nor Republicans have a plan to stop the following model of American finance: Gambling by the too-big-to-fail banks with your pension money and their leverage.  They make the bets, we provide the wheelbarrow of cash.  And whether you are a Democrat or a Republican, that's your plan for financial reform -- Printing Presses and Accounting Fraud -- and it's happening at the expense of you, me and every future person in this country because of the money machine that the bankers have running to pay off our politicians."

IF YOU DON'T SUPPORT OBAMA, SHOW ME YOUR ID!

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/tom-blumer/2009/08/11/cant-make-it-dem-rep-who-opposes-photo-id-vote-requiring-photo-id-town-h

When you break the law, no id. When you are not breaking the law and want to join the political process, SHOW ME YOUR ID.

The Demoncrats are only for illegals in this country for the votes, that is easy to see.

DB & Mark...I could find the same clip said by Michael Savage, Neal Boortz, Mark Levin, Bill Cunningham, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, and so on and so on. Why when they say it, it doesn't make it through the wax in your ears (or biases)? Keep in mind that the only party that has the power right now is being led by a community agitator. Sure, the guys I mentioned bash Barry and are fiscal conservatives and they are not liberal on the social issues. Yes, they support the party of Ron Paul. Show me a clip where this guy says something against Obama (I don’t worship (I mean watch) him so there may be one or two). Maybe he has a speech impediment that doesn’t allow him to say Obama or Pelosi or Reid or Bawny Fwank (okay, I will give him that one). DB, I understand that fair and balanced leaves a bitter taste in your mouth and when conservatives (how aren’t as bulletproof as me) join in here they get a cold shoulder but maybe we need them. Maybe this site needs them. Either way, they will be in power again soon so why not put in some angry Tea Party conservatives who share some if not most of Ratigan’s views on the evil bank mafia. Just trying to help, no you Mark, you are beyond hope but I still care about you.

All the guys you mentioned are political guys not finance guys...they don't say the same things as Ratigan if you listen closely...they don't get these issues with the same level of knowledge...2nd problem is everybody you mentioned is overtly political...ratigan is not...maybe in your mind he is, but you're mistaken...he criticizes both sides whenever possible...and he is not known in any way for his politics..probably known as the least political guy on msnbc...

the senator actually says we need our "lending banks , when the economy is in trouble and hedge funds are in trouble" . this so called white knight is just one more stooge worrying about hedge funds and rich people. there is a class war brewing . the rich who fail to protect themselves will be staked, unless , as expected, the fbi and national gaurd ruthlessly put down the masses. prior to that, you can wait for a john brown style 'crazy' man to plan an audacious publicity stunt against a public target upon which the masses can gather their rallying cry.

Dylan works for GE (the other Vampire Squid, remember), which owes it's continuing existence to Obama. He's not allowed to criticize Obama or his employer, but he has been going after all the rest full-tilt.

He should run for Senator.

DB...yes, they don't beat up on the Dems and Repubs are all the same schtick. That is because they are not the same. They both may do more harm than good but if you can't see the difference, you are too stubborn to see the nose on your face. Saying that you are the least political guy on MSNBC is like saying you are the slowest guy on the Nascar circuit.

Yes, not at all political.

i get your point but i have heard him criticize obama for choosing geithner and summers...several times...i have heard him criticize obama on afghanistan...and he has a running criticism of obama on his bailout/reform policies...

but what he does do often is say 'the president' or 'the white house' or the 'administration' instead of calling out obama by name...that i've definitely noticed...

did you actually watch the clip zara...there was nothing political in it...it was about racism and nazis within teh tea party movement...that said, it was a pretty funny clip...
Apr 30, 2010 at 4:31 PM | Registered CommenterDailyBail
i watched the fox clip. not ratigan's finest moment (i remember seeing it earlier and wincing a bit), but the other guy (whoever he is) was a smug asshole with a chip on his shoulder. i'd have given him about 3 more seconds than dylan did, but I'd cut his mic, too.

so is that fox's new tactic, now? go after ratigan because he fucks up their left-right agenda? did that fox clown, by the way, ask me to kill him? i'm pretty sure he did.

btw, zara, rush limbaugh and sean hannity are just sorry excuses for human beings. talk about wasting oxygen (and food). hannity just makes shit up half the time. that bitch needs to be tossed into the water along with the tea. he had 8 Bush years to pluck his head out of his hole, but he didn't. eight years. 8. one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. you would think six years would have been enough, but not really. disgrace. imagine if that were your father. (sorry, that was cruel.)

I am still waiting for Mr. Ratigan to show equal outrage to this clip...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDlutO0KK7g

I don't see any clips of Tea Party supporters promoting that kind of garbage. Ratigan is just way off base.

We should be focused on Europe right now. Who will be next, Portugal, Spain, the UK?
Apr 30, 2010 at 4:52 PM | Unregistered CommenterZarathustra
what the moron who got his mic cut didn't realize (how could he possibly not realize?) is that ratigan is one of the few reporters giving the tea party people a chance to fight back against the charges that they're all a bunch of racists. this was a golden moment. a gift, if you will. mr. smugshot blew it. nice going, big guy. you blew it.

aha. mr. williams of the GOP tea party express has a record of blowing these kinds of opportunities. someone, please ask him to step down and go away.

Here's an interesting take on the Tea Party people and racism. He doesn't like Palin. And, he wants to see the birth certificate.

James H., those clips seemed a bit fringe. Isn’t the point of a movement to bring in people from all walks of life? I support the Tea Party movement but I don’t consider myself one of them. The left is very calculated and they have little to no ethics when it comes to making their points. Many years from now, they will do hit pieces on people who they can show at a rally. They will talk up their biased interpretation of the movement and ignore all the good it did to shine the light of truth on some of today’s most pressing issues. There will always be a nasty Katie Couric or Anderson Vanderbilt Cooper. I am not always sure what point you try to make in here James H., there is no litmus test to want to protest Obama and his policies which is basically what the Tea Party is all about. You can believe Obama (Barry Soetoro) is a fraud as I do. You can like or dislike Palin. I think the last thing the Tea Party movement needs is the Anderson Vanderbilt show. The racist movement out there is La Raza which means “The Race”. I am not trying to say that we have the ability or the will to eliminate all the double standards out there. What we can do is not ignore the obvious and I think most people don’t ignore the obvious. If you think that the clip I posted is a man, Ratigan, who is giving the Tea Party movement a chance, you really have your wires crossed.

James H., just curious, have we seen Obama’s birth certificate? You see, this is my litmus test.

zara, i was about to claim that dylan was the ONLY journalist who was letting the tea party people explain themselves or address charges of racism. but then i did a little, "research." scratch the original hypothesis. found out that this williams character has a record of blowing it on national television.

the obvious answer is "hell no, we don't support racists showing up at our rallies with racist signs." he could have gone on to say, "look, there are X million people in the movement who are angry about government bailouts, deficit spending and govt take-over of health care and other industries. we're a huge, mainstream movement. we don't need some racist fringe to improve our numbers. and frankly, those people aren't welcome. next question."

instead, williams groused about left-wing racists, and gave the general impression that he didn't really care if a racist fringe (or plants) were giving fodder to the media.

that was my point.

the other video just happened to pop up and i thought it was interesting that a black guy in a hoody was a pro-tea party birther who didn't like Sara Palin crashing the party. that's all. no "point" there, just an interesting data point.

fwiw, i think ratigan lost his cool a bit but i would have been pissed as well...how could a party leader not take an opportunity to distance himself from racism...politics attracts idiots...

zara...you can be a tea partier without going to rallies, by rabble rousing online...
May 1, 2010 at 5:55 AM | Registered CommenterDailyBail
By "rabble rousing", sounds like a very leftist term. Care to define?
May 1, 2010 at 10:34 AM | Unregistered CommenterZarathustra
zara...rabble rousing is a term from the 1800s for someone who raises hell...
May 1, 2010 at 10:52 AM | Registered CommenterDailyBail
Now DB, you should not have let that meaning out of the bag. Its meaning has been lost for generations by those who braid flowers in their hair, and hug trees, or profess steaks have rights and such.

Some are better left in the dark...

"Well, I will keep an eye out. What do we do if we find one? "

I tend to drink beer with them, and raise hell with them, and do all those things that men do that have not been emasculated by the HOA's of Amerika, but that is me. It is really fun to get in touch with your primordial self every now and then.

Try building a 30 foot bonfire in your back yard, get drunk, and howl at the moon, you might enjoy it, but you are not really having fun til the fire department shows up.
