Hubbard is a complete whore. He was part of the S.E.C.'s lawsuit against Bank of America for concealing $6 billion of bonuses to be paid to Merrill Lynch executives prior to the shareholder vote on that merger. Hubbard, hired as an expert by Bank of America, opined that the bonuses were immaterial despite the fact that Merrill's stated losses just before the merger were $7 billion (which later turned out to be $28 billion, but what's 300% error amounting to $20+ billion in additional losses between gangsta friends?).
