Sarah Palin Is A National Embarrassment And A Bailout Socialist (CBS Couric Interview)

I'm pretty sure her answer is in English, though it's difficult to know for sure without a translation of her tweets by William Shatner on Conan's Tonight Show.
Seriously for a moment, Sarah Palin is an acute, national embarrassment, like a troublesome rash that won't respond to treatment. This interview was conducted on September 24th of 2008, at the apex of the financial crisis, a time when we needed intelligence and insight from our leaders. If Palin proves anything at all in this clip, it's that we really need to have a requisite IQ minimum for politicians.
Any remaining supporters of Caribou Barbie, please take an honest look and listen to Palin's response. She's so dense she makes George Bush sound like a Rhodes Scholar. I would honestly rate her intelligence about equal to that of Bernanke's replacement from Happy Hour In Santa Cruz. She remembers the talking points, but has no idea what they mean. May the heavens protect the United States if she ever gains national office.
And one last thing, Palin shows quickly that she's a bailout Socialist, no different than Bush, Obama and McCain. It's quite obvious she doesn't even have the most basic understanding of finance, or any of the other concepts she attempts to discuss.
U.S. voters should be enraged at McCain for allowing such an imbecile to get so close to the White House. Have we no shame, have we no more decency?

Allow them to spend more, and put more money into the economy, instead of helping these big financial institutions that played a role in creating this mess?

We've got to look at that as more opportunity. All of those things under the umbrella of job creation.

In the days leading up to an interview with ABC News’ Charlie Gibson, aides were worried with Ms. Palin’s grasp of facts. She couldn’t explain why North and South Korea were separate nations and she did not know what the Federal Reserve did. Sarah Palin speaks simply and her non-extemporaneous speeches make sense (regardless of whether one agrees or not -- her arguments are cogent). Reagan also had this talent.

I care about who is running, which currently is probably only the sitting POTUS, but even that is not 100%, it is just generally assumed that a sitting POTUS will run for a second term. 1 Refuse to accept money from financial institutions or lackeys thereof (one must first get elected to have any effect on the other points).
2 End the FED.
3 Restore a Constitutional monetary system outside of the central banking structure.
4 End lobbying and restore a Government of the people, by the people by majority rule, instead of a government of the lobbyist, for the special interest, f@cking majority rule.
5 Prosecute those responsible for the financial destruction of America.
6 Investigate all "lawmakers" who were contributory to aiding the crime of the century by repealing laws such as Glass-Steagall, etc., and uncover the money trail of special interest money desiring the same.
7 End the selling out of our national interests to foreigners.
8 punch Bernanke in the nose.
9 Kick Geithner in the balls (just to see if he has a set, some suspect he castrated himself to serve the cause of destroying America).

3) Credit card act . We must not let these credit companies gouge the people. Brilliant !!
Trouble is that when the card companies can't charge you a penalty for being late ,they just distribute
the cost to the good people who pay on time. The risky people are refused cards ,and they end up going to
payday lenders ,or pawn shops ,who really fleece the comsumer,who now can't get a card.. Brilliant !!!
Compitition for the business of the credit card holder is the best way to tie the hands of credit card companies.
If one raises his fee ,i can dump him. But,oh my, The Obama govt. knew better. They are quite brilliant.
4)Ethanol: wow ,let's burn the food supply ,thereby skyrocketing the prices of corn in the supermarket. Ask your wife how food prices are rising at an alarming rate.
We, the taxpayer must subsidize,this project ,and to what end.
Now ,they are finding that Ehtanol is more harmful to the environment than gasoline.And the taxpayer is on the hook.

Items 1, 2, and 3, are not really about cars, first home buyers, or credit cards. They are about enticing people to go into debt. The only way a fractional reserve fiat system can survive is by creating debt. For every dollar they loan, they can create out of thin air many more. The first two are enticements at the publics expense through the government, the third is in the benefit of the card issuer.
Get out of debt now.
The money has never been created to pay off the interest on our debt, therefore anyone who is claiming they will do so either does not understand the fractional reserve system, or is lying.
Item 4, many here understand the fight for food sovereignity, I even posted the link to S 510. I have always stated that the competition between food for food, and food for fuel will not end well. You know what is even dumber? The government paying farmers not to farm while we are operating so close to the brink on this issue.
All here I believe are for energy independence. Oil is a big issue in this fight, business would rather call another boat verses spending capital on exploration and developement, the bonuses are bigger by keeping the costs down. Therefore relying on others to fill demand is better for their bottom line verses the huge capital outlays of E&D.
My wife would not know about food prices, if you had been around you would know, we grow our own/ kill our own food. Meanwhile many are attempting to make outlaws out of the whole food movement in the name of protecting the agribusiness contributors and keeping their hand tightly on the food "control mechanism". Herd animals are proudly sitting quite on this one.
