Selling The Wars - Image Is Everything When You're Marketing A $3 Trillion War Machine
Video - Marketing the killing machine
The Pentagon budgets half a billion dollars to market its wars in the U.S. Call it public relations or call it propaganda, it's meant to win the hearts and minds of Americans. But is it coming at the price of the truth? Examining the cost of war in Afghanistan and Iraq.
For those wondering why I cover the wars, it's simple. All moral issues aside, of which there are plenty, if we have to borrow - let's face it, it's stealing - if we have to steal from future generations to pay for our current love of killing, then it will be covered here at the Bail. Book it.
- Thus far, the war in Iraq has cost over $740,000,000,000 -- but the cumulative cost could be between two and three trillion dollars. The war has caused the death of over 4,400 American troops, and left more than 31,000 wounded.

A simple read of media board chairs don't require too much effort to connect those "close tot he story" media members to the flame and pain industrial complex and partner in crime, the war usury exchange.
If it's in the NY Times it's government disinformation. Period. When ya need a consent manufactured for war crimes - fax it to the editors of the NY Times.
Project Mockingbird comes to mind. A policy that provide structure to the state police embedded media we see on the Hypno Tube MSM news-gossip and CSPAN.
The author reports American casualties with no mention of th Million Dead Iraqi we continue to sear with drones justifying the projected 4 Trillion total outlay of future harvest has been allocated for.
Another BIG problem is the reference to US Extortion and War Usury's reign of pain and flame as "WAR". A war usually means a nation was attacked and defended itself. No WMD evidence found - no WMD pre-crime evidence found. No links to the K Street Brothels' allegations and matrix construct related to nine slash eleven. Yet - over a million dead - over 4 Trillion of harvest extorted at compound interest for a genocide veiled as the American Way and Patriotism.
Sounds more like a war crime than a war. Go figure.
@x...the soldiers are mostly kids and questioning authority is not highly valued in their environment...
I'd say call it propaganda. Edward Bernays, the man who invented both terms, said he coined the term "public relations" because the Nazis had ruined the word "propaganda." However, he said, they mean the same thing. "Public relations" is an innocuous term to the public while "propaganda" carries a negative charge suggesting lies and brainwashing, which is what is actually happening. Try it in conversations whenever the Pentagon's info war efforts are discussed to gauge the reactions; use the Bernays quote to shut up anyone who claims that "public relations" is not "propaganda." It won't change minds that are already made up, but it can make some stop to think about what is really being done to them, at great cost.
Very Very True. If the American People only knew the truth of whats Realy Going On, in this goverment we would see people our age in the streets like they have now over in the UK...............! The people are slowly waking up, but its to late to change anything.
Consider this: If the USA (or any instigator) was about to attack another country and that country said " Alright, but we will not attack you in return. We will instead attack the Rothschilds where ever they may be." It is quite possible that all wars would come to an immediate END. In fact, there is no question about it.
