Ever since DB took this latest break not one banker has been jailed and it appears that nothing is going to happen to those responsible for this mess. I learned something very important during the Enron fiasco and that is to whom loyalty lies when one is an appointed government official (even though congress or a state legislature must approve of that appointee)... In my case it was the Public Advocate (how ironic the title) who served at the pleasure of the Governor and promoted the governor's future business ambitions at the cost of the public good (electricity deregulation). You wouldn't believe what he did with the banking industry back then.

These appointees serve at THE PLEASURE of the Governor (or President) no matter what position they hold. That should be very clear to most everyone now.

From the moment the doors opened at 8 a.m., it was clear supporters of candidate Ron Paul were playing for keeps.
